What is Words With Friends 2?

Words With Friends 2 is a single or multiplayer mobile word game, developed by Zynga. The game is loosely based on the board game Scrabble, where players need to add words to build a crossword, score points and progress in levels.

Words With Friends 2 can be played in single-player mode against fictional characters, with one other person, or in teams. Players can search for each other in the app, in Facebook, or be automatically matched with opponents anywhere in the world. Players communicate with the in-built chat function, which can be muted but not disabled. The matchmaking and chat features of Words With Friends 2 mean it can also be used as a dating app.

Words with Friends 2 is free to play with in-app purchases offered. A paid version is available for mobile devices which removes advertising from the game.
