The eSafety Commissioner
The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) is Australia’s independent regulator for online safety. We are an Australian Government agency.
eSafety helps keep all Australians safe from online harms and promotes ways to have safer, more positive online experiences. We have legal powers to protect Australians across most online platforms and forums where people experience abuse or harm.
eSafety also has free online safety programs and resources.
eSafety can help remove seriously harmful online content. Seriously harmful content can include:
- cyberbullying of children
- adult cyber abuse
- intimate images or videos shared without consent of the person shown
- illegal and restricted content.
