Our people and careers

The eSafety Commissioner is an independent statutory office holder who, under the Online Safety Act 2021, is supported by Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) employees.

In practice, this means that all eSafety staff are ACMA employees who are covered by conditions set out in the ACMA Enterprise Agreement.

We are co-located with our ACMA colleagues in modern and contemporary offices in the heart of Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, with many of us enjoying the benefits of flexible work arrangements to balance our work and life commitments.
