What is Scrabble Go?

Scrabble Go is a mobile word game developed by Scopely, where you create words to build a crossword and score points. It is based on the classic board game Scrabble and uses the same rules, board style and dictionaries. The app has additional features such as multiple game modes, treasure hunts, virtual currency and arcade-style graphics.

Scrabble Go can be played by one person, in pairs (called duels) or teams. You can find friends by searching the app, connecting the app to a Facebook account, or letting it sync with your contact list. You can also be matched by the game with opponents of similar skill. Matched opponents may be characters created by the game or real people from anywhere in the world.

Scrabble Go allows you to chat with your opponents, send emoticons, emoji and quick text phrases. The chat function can be blocked or muted for individual players, but only during an active game.
