What is Gab?

Gab is a social media service, that lets you post text, images, videos and polls as well as generate images and interact with artificial intelligence (AI) bots. The website includes a shop and an uncensored AI image generator (Gabby). You can also look for and join groups based on common interests, including religious and political affiliations. Gab is free to use, but a paid membership unlocks analytics, blocks promoted content and gives users access to a PRO Feed with additional user content.

Gab is promoted on its website as ‘the home of free speech online’ and will only remove content that contravenes its terms of service. Gab is available as a website. Gab is one of several social media services that has been associated with extreme political content and views. As with any other social media service, it is important to be wary of misinformation and disinformation when using Gab.
