What is Code Vein?

Code Vein is a third-person open world action role-playing game by Bandai Namco Studios. Set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic near future, the fantasy anime-style game is a saga of vampires, demons, robots, violent combat, magic and characters with dark backstories. Code Vein is labelled as unsuitable for all ages and carries a warning of frequent violence and mature themes. A birthdate is required to enter the website.

Code Vein matches players of similar skill and can be played in single or online multiplayer modes in teams of two. Players communicate with emoticons or third-party voice chat apps like Discord.

Code Vein is a paid game with a number of add-ons available for purchase. It also features on social and streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube.
