What is Bigo Live?

Bigo Live is a live streaming platform based in Singapore and available worldwide. It lets you live stream video content to other users and watch other people’s livestreams. Bigo Live also has one-on-one and group video calls and live videogame streaming (like Twitch). Users can also organise special events such as live concerts.

As with any live streaming service, there are risks related to exposure to inappropriate content. Bigo Live uses automated and manual mechanisms to detect underage activity and child sexual abuse on the service. However, livestreams and video calls may contain adult content and there is no failsafe way of ensuring that underage users are not paired with adults.
