What is NBA 2K?

NBA 2K is a sports simulation video game series based on America’s National Basketball Association (NBA). The game replicates pro NBA matches, drawing on real-life actors and pro basketball players for gameplay. There are a variety of game modes, catering to different skill levels and age groups, and simulating different aspects of the player journey.

These include setting up a team from scratch, playing casually on open-world neighbourhood courts, or customising your player and getting drafted. NBA 2K games have single and multiplayer modes, supporting 1-4 players offline or 2-8 players online.

Players can communicate by text or voice chat, or by using third-party apps like Discord. NBA 2K game content is also streamed on other platforms such as Twitch and Youtube.

Some content is restricted to adults (18+). For example, the game includes casino-style side games like roulette and slot machines, which you must pay for with virtual currency. While intended for a general audience, it’s important to be aware of the gambling elements of NBA 2K.
