What is Talkie?

Talkie is an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that lets you create, share and interact with characters. You can customise an AI character’s appearance, online profile and voice. AI characters can be new creations or in the likeness of real and fictional characters, including celebrities, politicians and religious figures. You can create characters that reply in English and other languages including French, Spanish, Polish, Indonesian and German. You can also chat with other people and AI characters and earn rewards that can be converted into virtual currency.

Talkie lets anyone create their own chatbot and includes NSFW or ‘not safe for work’ filters when searching for chatbots, so there is a risk that young people could encounter content that is not age appropriate. It is also important to be aware that AI chatbots may say things that are inaccurate or harmful.

Talkie is developed by Subsup, which is based in Singapore.
