What is happn?

happn is a location-based social media app which is mostly used as a dating service. happn differs from other dating apps in that it allows you to communicate with people you have physically crossed paths with over the course of a day. You have the option to ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ other users. Once two people both ‘like’ each other, they can chat online by voice or text message, share their latest Instagram photos and Spotify | (add link) playlists.

happn can be accessed with a Facebook account or by signing up with a mobile phone number. The app is free to use, with additional paid features available in the app. Although happn uses geolocation technology to connect people, your exact location is never shown.
