What is Borderlands 3?

Borderlands 3 is a role-playing first-person shooter game published by Take-Two Interactive Software. The game is set in the war-torn galaxy of Pandora, which is populated with bandits, aliens and monsters. As a player, you can control one of four Vault Hunter characters who must fight and kill their enemies, using all manner of weaponry. Borderlands 3 content includes graphic violence, sexual themes and dark humour.

Borderlands 3 can be played in single-player mode or by up to four people online at a time. The game’s matchmaking system automatically groups players of similar skill together. This feature can be disabled by selecting ‘offline’ or ‘invite only’ game modes.

Borderlands 3 features on streaming platforms like Twitch.

Borderlands 3 players often use third-party voice chat apps like Discord to communicate in the game.
