Universities
These Toolkit for Universities resources are designed to be used by non-academic staff, including those responsible for the design and administration of policies and procedures.
Universities offer almost endless opportunities for people from all walks of life to interact, engage and learn. But unfortunately, many of the same online safety risks experienced throughout society are reflected in university communities. So it is important to support students and staff to have positive experiences in a safe online environment.
Resources
These resources offer guidance to the institutional leaders and staff tasked with managing the online risks that can impact everyone within their university community.
The first two resources are universal. They cover the basics of online safety, and targeted information for supporting women (who are more likely than men to experience online abuse).
The remaining resources are specific to this audience, covering policies, principles and procedures that will help create safer online environments and respond to incidents within university communities.
