#PlayitFairOnline

eSafety and Australia’s major sporting organisations have joined forces to combat the important issue of serious online abuse in sport.

A statement signed by the eSafety Commissioner and sporting representatives pledges they will work together to address serious online abuse targeted at athletes, including racism, sexism and homophobia.

To support all Australians, from grassroots to professional athletes, staff and officials, eSafety has created a suite of resources on this page that can be used to develop policies and practices for dealing with online abuse.

You can also explore our Sports hub[https://www.esafety.gov.au/communities/sport] for more advice on how to help make sure everyone in sport has safer and more positive experiences online. It includes tailored advice for sport administrators[https://www.esafety.gov.au/communities/sport/administrators], athletes and competitors[https://www.esafety.gov.au/communities/sport/athletes-and-competitors], coaches and officials[https://www.esafety.gov.au/communities/sport/coaches-and-officials], sports parents[https://www.esafety.gov.au/communities/sport/parents], as well as downloadable resources[https://www.esafety.gov.au/communities/sport/resources] so you can share positive messaging at your sport.
