Logging in to Instagram is easy if you’re already on Facebook – Facebook now owns Instagram and the two are linked, so you can log in to Instagram with your Facebook account. If you don’t have Facebook, you need to sign up to use Instagram. If safety is a concern for you, it's best not to link accounts.
Instagram allows you to add filters to photos, comment on posts, and share photos and videos with other social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
Most people find Instagram fun and enjoyable to use, most of the time.
Sometimes, however, things can go wrong, and people may be subject to things like abuse, cyberstalking, having their account hacked or even image-based abuse. Read more about online abuse and image-based abuse.
