Be an eSafe kid: Recognising red flags online

A live Virtual Classroom webinar to help Year 5 and 6 students understand how to recognise ‘red flag’ situations when they’re online. Students will learn how to identify warning signs online and develop a plan to deal with harmful online behaviour.

  • use strategies to address harmful or dangerous situations online
  • understand the importance of empathy online.

Using this resource

Students can participate by:

  • listening to the presenter
  • thinking about different concepts of online safety
  • recording answers to the questions on the worksheet (optional)
  • responding to teacher-facilitated discussions
  • taking the worksheet home and sharing their learning with parents or carers.
