- understand what red flags in online spaces look like
- identify safe and unsafe behaviours and the difference between safe and unsafe secrets
- understand why some people deceive others online
- use strategies to address harmful or dangerous situations online
- understand the importance of empathy online.
Using this resource
Students can participate by:
- listening to the presenter
- thinking about different concepts of online safety
- recording answers to the questions on the worksheet (optional)
- responding to teacher-facilitated discussions
- taking the worksheet home and sharing their learning with parents or carers.
