Moshi Monsters is an online educational and gaming site, where children can adopt a monster and care for it. Children care for their monster by solving puzzle games and completing a variety of challenges that can earn their monster virtual rewards called Rox. Rox can be used to purchase virtual gifts like food, furniture and other treats.

As part of the registration process the site gathers a parent’s email address, country, gender, date of birth and a username. A limited amount of information, the username, age and country, is visible to all users of Moshi Monsters on their profile.
