Apex Legends is a ‘battle royale’-style, first person shooter online game.
In the game, teams of up to three compete in matches with up to 60 players to be the last team standing. Apex Legends is similar to the popular game Fortnite, though the violence in Apex Legends is persistent and more realistic.
It should be noted however, that players have direct contact with other players and may be exposed to offensive or inappropriate language or unwanted contact through the chat or voice function. The chat features can be turned off in the settings.
EA profiles have privacy settings that allow users to choose who can see their profile and whether they show their real names. Users can review their privacy settings by logging into their EA Account here.
The game is free to download and play, however there are in-game purchases that allow players to spend real-world money.
