The Office of eSafety Commissioner (the Office) has responsibility for certifying providers of online safety programs.
Individuals and organisations may apply to become a certified online safety program provider, and may be eligible for certification under the Office’s Voluntary Certification Scheme (the Scheme) if they can satisfy the requirements set out in the Voluntary Guidelines.
The Scheme was created to provide schools with the certainty that they can access online safety education providers, certified by the Office.
The funding arrangements for schools to access education delivered by certified providers ended on 30 June 2018.
The Scheme is due to expire on 31 December 2018.
